The Story

The feeling of stepping into an Icelandic spa, wrapped in freshly laundered linens, the cool crisp air filling your lungs. Ceramic opens with a sparkling burst of green apple and freesia — clean, luminous, and instantly uplifting. The House

Andrea Maack is an Icelandic visual artist whose perfume house began as a gallery experiment in 2012 — a single fragrance called Smart (Smell Art) made for a Reykjavik exhibition. The audience response turned the project into a full body of scented installations, then into a brand. The bottles are modeled on the obsidian volcanic rock of the Icelandic highlands; the contents stay close to the work that started it all — perfume as a piece of art you can wear.
