The Story

Mevlana – In the Medieval City is a gloriously rich and soulful perfume, inspired by a magical, whimsical café I stumbled upon and instantly fell in love with while wandering the labyrinth of narrow alleyways in the Old Town of Rhodes. Tucked within weathered stone walls and glowing lantern light, it felt like a portal—an intimate haven where time stood still and ancient stories lingered in the air.

Cardamom, thick Greek coffee, mesmerizing sweet shisha tobacco, rose-scented confections, ancient resins, smooth woods, and a touch of smoky incense intertwine to transport you to another era. Mevlana is a perfume steeped in warmth and wonder, echoing the spirit of old worlds and the quiet magic of hidden places.

The House

Untamed is an indie fragrance house in Vancouver, British Columbia, inspired by the landscapes of Canada's West Coast. Founder and perfumer Sunyata Calogeros-Smith — Canadian-born, of Greek ancestry, formerly a somatic psychotherapist — brings that clinical attention to mood and body into fragrance. The line is small, deliberate, and weather-shaped.
