The Story

A scent inspired by the birthplace of perfumery - Egypt - tracing a slow voyage down the Nile aboard a Dahabiya, its white sail catching the dry desert wind. The air shifts from bright tangerine, bergamot, and black pepper to the cool green hush of papyrus, pine, and fig.

Beneath it all, a hint of jasmine, frankincense, and myrrh drifts like smoke around ancient temples, while sun-baked cedarwood honours the statues carved by time. Fresh. Green. Aquatic. A modern classic born of ancient craft, created by The Raconteur in collaboration with Charlton.

The House

The Raconteur is the work of perfumer Craig Andrade, a Grasse Institute of Perfumery alumnus who refuses to make anything that already exists. His all-natural perfume serums and eaux de parfum tell the story of Australia's native botanicals — particularly the ones the fragrance world has overlooked. The process is part fieldwork, part history, part organic chemistry: connect with the plant, research its lineage, then formulate the molecule that puts it on skin.
