The Story

Radiant and joyful, natural bitter orange and natural sandalwood transport you to the Italian coast.

The bright juice of the orange is offset by the aromatic bitterness from its peel, rounded out with basil essential oil from Egypt.

French oak moss provides a chypre accord, while natural French cypress wood essential oil and Australian sandalwood anchor the luminous top notes. We use natural sandalwood oil harvested by Aboriginal communities in Western Australia, promoting a sustainable supply of the precious ingredient.

The House

Essential Parfums is the Paris house Géraldine Archambault founded in 2018, after three decades in the industry, to push back against everything that makes fine perfumery opaque. Her manifesto is simple: put the fragrance and the perfumer first, and credit the perfumers — not the brand — as the real artists. She strips away superfluous packaging, marketing, and middlemen, builds sustainability into every composition, and prices the results so haute parfumerie isn't a privilege.
