The Story

Beaming. Reassuring. Confident

Empowered Serenity

Created in collaboration with ScentBird, this grounding blend is designed to activate neural pathways, making you feel more empowered, energized, and confident. Transport yourself to a cathedral of towering trees with the warmth of sandalwood, cardamom, musk, and amber, while aquatic notes evoke the image of a distant, serene lake.

A Nature-Inspired Symphony

A seamless yet powerful fusion of cool, aquatic tones blends effortlessly with grounding woods and amber. Immerse yourself in the sensation of peering through a cathedral of bellowing trees, where the distant sparkle of a serene lake adds a touch of magic. This fragrance is a true harmonious tribute to nature’s beauty.

Refined Strength

The combination of aquatic freshness with rich, earthy woods creates a fragrance that’s both invigorating and stabilizing. It’s a scent that invokes not only the tranquility of nature but also a sense of inner strength, helping you feel rooted and focused, yet ready to take on anything.

The House

Scents of Wood is an American house founded by Fabrice Croisé, a French fragrance-industry veteran who wanted wood to be the subject of a perfume, not its shadow. The name borrows from shinrin-yoku, the Japanese practice of forest bathing. What sets the house apart is a technique few others attempt: each fragrance is composed in organic sugarcane alcohol that has been aged in a vintage wooden barrel — casks that once held bourbon, rye, cognac, calvados, or even maple syrup — so the alcohol carries a soft, faintly boozy warmth into the finished scent. The perfumes are made and aged in New York and finished in Utah, composed with a roster of accomplished perfumers; the house's Plum in Cognac took a Fragrance Foundation Award in 2021. Each bottle echoes the theme — a rounded vessel crowned with a hand-finished branch.
