The Story

A perfume formulated from the past, re-emerges

"Enter the enchanted forest at its darkest - and brightest. Sandarac, tamarack and balsam set a deep and haunting baseline - A minor chord of Snoqualmie Forest evergreens beckons as owl feathers flutter above the damp earth."

A previously offered and long discontinued perfume inspired by Twin Peaks: The Return. We have obtained the original formula rights to this perfume, and while the original name is under trademark and cannot be mentioned, this new revival version is titled 'Snoqualmie'.

The House

Pineward captures untamed forests, real and imagined. Perfumer Nicholas Nilsson loves pine trees and conifers but found their rawest aspects too often softened away in fine fragrance, so he set out to build the line he wanted to wear: pine and fir perfumes composed primarily of highly concentrated absolutes and blended in 200-proof grain alcohol. The work isn't a niche he has boxed himself into — it is the project.
