The Story

Close your eyes and continue your journey to Persian lands, wandering through markets where orange blossoms and pistachios rub shoulders with the scent of marzipan.

Notes of heliotrope shape the fragrance to give it fullness with almond facets, while notes of incense invigorate the fragrance and give it depth. A heart of carrot unfolds the sweet notes of the perfume and amplifies its unctuousness. It is then that the pistachio milk reveals all its nuances, gourmand and sweet, bitter and dry. A Pistachio as if it had come out of the streets of Tripoli, a firm, dense, dizzying pistachio!

Focus on the pistachio milk accord

The Pistachio milk accord is a creation of the perfumer, offering notes of almond, warm milk, toasted, green, and salty facets, all melting into a cloud of creamy aromas. According to legend, the Queen of Sheba declared pistachios a royal-exclusive delicacy, forbidding commoners from cultivating them for personal consumption. In the first century AD, Emperor Vitellius introduced this prized nut to Rome.

Originally grown in the warm climates of the Middle East, East Asia, and the Mediterranean, the pistachio is one of the oldest nut-bearing trees. Historically, pistachios were used as dye and as a remedy for minor ailments. Known as the Persian Almond due to its origins, pistachios only began commercial cultivation in America in the early 20th century, most notably in California, where the climate proved ideal.

Its credo is in the name: beauty is obvious and needs no explanation. Frossard makes straightforward, eco-responsible fragrances — sustainably formulated, simply presented — as a quiet rebellion against superficiality and show. For him a perfume isn't an ostentatious disguise but a revealing totem: a way back to authenticity, and to nature.
