The Story

Woody | Gourmand

Silky Woods is a woody gourmand perfume inspired by the ancient rainforests of Tropical Queensland.

Tropical Australian Agarwood blends with Cinnamon, Tobacco Leaves, Ylang Ylang, Vanilla, Saffron, Incense and Sandalwood to create a sensual and luxurious fragrance.

Sunrise (Top Notes): Gourmand, Silky, Lush

Sunset (Base Notes): Woody, Smoky, Sensual

Encased in molten gold, Silky Woods is the debut fragrance in the Goldfield & Banks Botanical Series, a collection celebrating rare botanicals and Australia’s fragrance frontier. This woody gourmand creation honours Tropical Australian Agarwood, sustainably harvested for the first time in perfume history.

Silky Woods opens with a delicate warmth of Cinnamon from Ceylon and rich Tobacco Leaves, unfurling into a heart of exotic Ylang Ylang from Madagascar and creamy Vanilla from Tahiti. Tropical Australian Agarwood provides its distinctive musky depth, softened by soft Suede and enriched with Saffron, Incense and native Australian Sandalwood.

Inspired by botanist Joseph Banks’ first voyage to Australia, Silky Woods is a celebration of native abundance and artisanal innovation. Each French glass bottle is lacquered in gold infused with 24-carat gold powder, a tribute to the romance of the Gold Rush and Australia’s rich natural heritage.

The House

Goldfield & Banks is Australia's premier luxury perfume house. Founder and creative director Dimitri Weber spent years in international fragrance development before launching the house in 2016, with one ambition: honor the Australian land through gender-free fragrance. The perfumes are built on native Australian botanicals — every essential oil traceable from field to bottle — blended in the French tradition and diluted in organic beetroot alcohol.
