The Story

Celest honours these timeless rituals that shaped perfumery as we know it. It is a composition defined by reverence to its heritage, yet guided forward, where tradition becomes illumination. The fragrance opens with the finest English chamomile, imparting a soft, golden clarity and a sense of calm refinement, lifted by fresh bergamot to create an airy, celestial introduction. It evolves into a warm, heart of davana, honey, and cedarwood, enriched with deep, comforting balsamic accords, unfolding with quiet opulence and a resinous warmth reminiscent of sacred smoke.

The House

Floris London is the oldest English perfumer still trading. Founded in 1730, the house began by selling perfumes alongside combs and shaving products, and by 1820 was royal-appointed comb-maker to King George IV. Florence Nightingale, Winston Churchill, and Marilyn Monroe were customers. Nine generations of the same family later, every fragrance is still made in Britain — and many are composed around a single central note: neroli, bergamot, oud, or rose.
