Musc K

A tribute to musk with sand lily and sand-grown vetiver

Musc K was born in the Maranhão landscape, where the pristine white sands of the wind-sculpted dunes contrast with the many crystal-clear shades of blue, from aquamarine and turquoise to the emerald green of the lagoons.

Musc K opens the score with a salty breeze of sand lily that is bright and fresh. Following the rhythm of the winds, its arabesques of white pepper on sand harmonise with a heart of salty iris and mangrove driftwood. A crescendo of sand-grown vetiver and Ambrofix™ anchors the fragrance, subtly nuanced at the end of its journey by a floating cloud of white musk, like the immaculate sand of the wind-blown dunes.

For Musc K, I wanted to work with a clean, salty musk, I worked with a salty, mineral, woody breeze, I wanted to evoke the wind, the pure air of this region, I wrote this fragrance like a breath, this fragrance represents a new beginning, like a kite that carries us away to other lands. It represents a special moment in life when we wipe the slate of the past clean to write a new page that is brighter and full of hope.
