The Story

“Sesame seeds pouring” (깨가 쏟아지다) is a Korean expression that describes two people deeply in love, sharing moments of sweetness and affection. Toasty, warm, and nutty, like a dessert showered with black sesame.

The House

dosigoh is a Seoul scent studio, until recently known as Concreted. The new name joins dosi, Korean for city, with goh, an archaic word for nose, and that pairing of a modern word with an ancient one describes the work: Korean references and the memories, moods, and materials of the city, revisited and translated into something contemporary. The studio treats scent the way it treats film, music, and food, as a source of pleasure and surprise, and its unisex fragrances keep to that brief.
