The Story

Black sesame is known for adding a rich nuttiness to a variety of Korean desserts—black sesame lattes, ice cream, and rice cakes. The House

Dosigoh is a Seoul scent studio, until recently known as Concreted. The new name joins dosi, Korean for city, with goh, an archaic word for nose, and that pairing of a modern word with an ancient one describes the work: Korean references and the memories, moods, and materials of the city, revisited and translated into something contemporary. The studio treats scent the way it treats film, music, and food, as a source of pleasure and surprise, and its unisex fragrances keep to that brief.
