The Story

Our latest addition is a fragrance inspired by a book of photographs of Sicily. A series of portraits of the stories island’s people and places taken over the course of 3 years.

Poesía is a smoky and rugged fragrance that blends oriental warmth with the allure of well-worn leather. It’s that deep, dark, sexy, sense you get when wander into a reading room of a 17-th century palazzo in Palermo that’s filled with exquisite one-of-a-kind objects, imbued with centuries of history. Poesía is one of those fragrances that you can almost touch.

It opens with spicy, aromatic notes that lead into a heart of soft florals and rich, textured leather. The base lingers with smoky oud, earthy patchouli, and warm musk, leaving a bold and lasting impression that feels both raw and elegant.

The House

Inverso Profumi sees perfume as art — and the wearer as an active participant, a canvas on which the fragrance unfolds. The house is committed to art over trend, and many compositions are inspired by photography from the co-founder's own archive. Every batch is hand-mixed and hand-bottled, and each fragrance name is written onto its box by hand. The packaging is intentionally simple — the work is meant to live on skin.
