The Story

The House

Indult was founded in Paris in 2006 by master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, his own house before his own name became one. It launched with three fragrances, each a study of a single storied material, each limited to 999 numbered bottles reserved for registered clients. The name is an old ecclesiastical word for a privilege granted, not earned. The house went quiet; its following never did. Collector Kim Charles revived it, keeping the original trio in production.
