The House
Founder Gerald Ghislain is described on the brand website as a "loquacious individual" with a "luxuriant imagination." The HDP olfactive library tells stories about famous characters, mythical years, poems, and music. HDP is a French house dedicated to the French style of perfumery. Gerald trained classically at ISIPCA and hopes to make the wearer feel with his perfumes. He also stresses the brand is "reasonable" and not "sustainable." He feels that to call a brand "sustainable" without stopping the harvest of plants is fraudulent and instead feels that the HDP brand is "reasonable."
