The Story

The Inspiration

From the minute, perfumer, Xavier Blaizot introduced me to this extraordinary scent, all I could say was “Holy Smoke! I want this for Fleurit!” Although Xavier created this out of his passion for ambergris and for his own personal use, he agreed that this would be a perfect addition to the collection. It is sultry, sensual, downright sexy. Sainte Fumée is for a persona that resides in shadows and thrives in the night, this fragrance embodies the essence of an alter ego—a seductive and enigmatic character who emerges when the sun sets and the city lights come to life. It is for those who dare to embrace their inner fatale, attribute to allure mystery and undeniable charisma. When this alter ego steps into the world, dressed to kill in their own style and ready to own the night, the fragrance becomes their signature. It leaves a trail of intrigue and fascination wherever they go, pulling others in with an irresistible, smoky magnetism. All we can say is Holy Smoke!

The House

Fleurit is built for a fragrance wardrobe rather than a single signature — each scent stands on its own yet layers cleanly with the rest. Founder and creative director Lynn King was born and raised in New York and remains deeply connected to her Eastern European heritage through scent. Fleurit is now based here in Carlsbad. The line is allergy-tested and IFRA-compliant, with a published ingredient list.
