The Story

Pushkar, Rajasthan, India. From dawn to dusk, this sacred place is a feast for the senses. Visual opulence and intoxicating scents underline the power of the faith of those who come to cleanse their souls on the shores of the lake. Nature plays right into the hands of this legendary place: the roses grow on the shores of the lake simply to offer their velvety petals to the god Brahma, and the sun that sets the sky ablaze at dusk accompanies the spellbinding chanting of worshippers.
