The Story

Cardamom, soft tobacco, and dark chocolate; late-night philosophy in a bottle.

Filosofía was born from those twilight hours when the work is done, a cigar glows, and conversation turns philosophical. Spicy cardamom, black pepper, and bergamot open, then wrap into a cashmere-soft heart of tonka bean and tobacco leaf. Dark chocolate, hazelnut, and warm musk settle in like the last log on the fire. Built on a high percentage of naturals, it feels complex and rich, sweet enough to flirt with gourmand without tipping over. Winner of the 2024 Pinapos Fragrance Festival Award, it started with Michael’s favorite cigar but has become a favorite of the women in our community too. It truly is 100 percent unisex.

The House

Day Three was founded in 2022 by Michael and Vanessa Paul, and within months of releasing their first perfume — La Tacita de Café — won the Art and Olfaction Golden Pear Award. The house treats perfume as a vessel for precious moments and memory. It is a true family operation: their niece and sister work closely with the team, and Michael, in another life, was a stage magician.
