The Story

Introducing Santal Vanille, an exquisite sandalwood fragrance that embodies the spirit of elegance and sophistication. At its heart lies the rich and creamy Sandalwood Indi, harmoniously blended with the warmth of Bourbon Vanilla Absolute. The scent opens with a fresh burst of Green Apple Accord and the vibrant zest of Italian Bergamot, creating an invigorating first impression.

As the fragrance unfolds, the sensual notes of Tonka Bean Absolute and Leather Accord emerge, adding depth and a hint of intrigue. Earthy Patchouli and the mystical allure of Frankincense Resin lend a grounding effect, while the spicy warmth of Cinnamon CO2 and the delicate florals of Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute and Bulgarian Rose Absolute infuse a timeless charm.

The composition is further enriched by the unique notes of Palo Santo, Carrot Absolute, and the exotic Assam Oud, creating a complex and captivating olfactory experience.

Experience the luxurious blend of nature's finest ingredients with Santal Vanille, where every note tells a story of elegance and allure.

The House

Michael Salazar makes Aromas de Salazar by hand from his San Diego studio, blending every batch himself so the color and the scent stay consistent bottle to bottle. The naturals do the coloring; the result is a line that feels personal rather than industrial. Salazar is also a familiar face at The Drydown — he teaches our Sip and Create workshops, sharing the craft with anyone curious about making perfume.
